I've always been scared to try that, cause it seems like you could choke or something. Why not just eat the peanuts and drink the Coke? That's the way God intended it. :D

i have done that since i was a little tot .. its best in the glass bottles that coke has !! i enjoy adding the beam too

I think thats one of those Southern Things... Oh yeah use to do it all the time when I was a teen ager.. Many Moons ago.. In those 10 cent cokes... thats tells ya how long ago that was..... I was country when country was cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My father-in-law is convinced that if you are sick to your stomach that coke with peanuts in it will make you feel better. He grew up in south GA on a farm, they have some crazy ideas on what will make you feel better. He also thinks that if you can just burp really loud when you feel sick then you will feel better. Dawniev, I am from GA too BTW.

I have 2 aunts in Newnan, grandparents that used to live there and a couple of cousins! You don't know anyone by the last name of Dewberry or Jones or Levens do you?

Teacher, my first kiss was with a guy named Doug Dewberry. I lived in Lithia Springs GA at the time, that is just west of Atlanta. Dawniev, I drive through Newnan when I drive to panama city beach. We always stop at some BIG truck-stop there to use the bathroom and things, I think it is called "Williams" or something like that.
