just asking, if so those attending need to get a minidisc recorder and an external mic. they make great recordings. visit minidisc.org if interested or taperconnection.com. they can help you out. also the hank3.com has a section called bootleggin for his concert, he doesnt care if you record and people love it. i am saying this because, everyone loves his live shows. am i right? we will probally never get another live show of his unless somebody records one for themselves and shares with somebody else. hanks concerts are legendary and without his concerts, he is not hank jr. that is what the man is known for. if there is a big event, hank closes. etc etc etc. a live dvd would also be nice. probally will never see that one. people dont sell bootlegs for the most part anyway, they trade, the sound is never as perfect as a store bought but to me that is what makes them good. just out of curiousity, i have never taped a show, but i have tons of boots that i have traded for over the years from willie, hank, hank3, charlie daniels, marshall tucker, van morrison. the only thing these cds have made me do were go out and but the artists cds from the store. i guess i just had some copies of the shows i have seen in the past that i have talked so much about. there are ways to record them but i am not sure if hank allows taping. if not, visit some of the above mentioned websites for help if interested.

I have a Hank Williams Jr. Live Tape of him at Jamboree in the Hills. It is an awesome tape and would never think about trading it. He is going to be there again this year but I don't think it will be televised because it is on a Saturday and usually the Saturday and Sunday shows they never show the closing acts. But Hank played on a Friday 2 years ago and I taped it at home because I was at the concert. I wish he would make another Live Cd like the Hank Live cd he has. I wonder why he doesnt make a live recording he would sure make a killin off of it because Live Shows are the best kinds of CDs I think by any artist especially Hank.

I am going to rephrase what I said before.

I have a Hank Williams Jr. Live Tape of him at Jamboree in the Hills. It is an awesome tape and would never think about trading it unless I was going to get it back like if you knew a way of copying it to a dvd for your own use or you were able to copy it from VHS to VHS as long as I was sure to get it back I may lend it out for some good Hank stuff in return though. He is going to be there again this year and I asked someone from JITH and they said the only act they know of that isn't going to be televised is Skynards so I will try and tape Hanks again because I am going to be at the show.

Most camera shops could put that on DVD for you. I wouldn't let that tape get away from me if I was you. One thig about it DVD recorders are getting cheaper by the day, buy a DVD/VCR recorder, do it yourself, then trade with us. :D :D

To all..

The recordings of a Hank Williams Jr. show is not permitted. Hank Williams Jr. has an exclusive recording contract with Curb Records in Nashville, TN. Other artists may allow their shows to be recrded however, NO Hank Williams Jr show may be recorded.

A live DVD and CD are being discussed, but nothing is final.
