I know every year Jamboree in the Hills is televised. Some years Hank Williams Jr. has been on the line up and has been on T.V. I was wondering if anyone has any tapes recorded of him. Let me know if you do.

I have two of Hank on tape and one of Travis Tritt. Unfortunately, I don't get that tv station anymore so I can't tape this year's show. I live in Pittsburgh and our local station complained about our cable company offering the other station to us, so they took it away. I think the 2 years that I have are 2001 and 2002, because I remember Hank saying that his new CD would be out on 9-11-01. We all know what happened on that day (the Almeria Club would actually be pushed back to a January 2002 release date).

The 2002 show was excellent, especially the first half. Hank didn't do much talking, just a lot of singing and picking. After his acoustic set, it kind of petered out (just my opinion) because he started that garbage about "this rookie in training camp" and "that rookie doesn't know what cool is" and doing the schtick about playing a little bit of Nugent, Skynyrd, ZZ, and Aerosmith; you know, the same thing that he's been doing for 15 years that got old 10 years ago.

The 2001 show was average. Too much name dropping, too much mention of Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, and such.
