The emblem Hank uses is also the Ruger emblem. Part of the reason he uses it as his own is because the Ruger corporation started in 1949, the same year he was born.

You can find this quote in Hank's "Hey Good Cookin" book on page 54. As stated, "If you had every Hank Williams, Jr. Album ever sold, and listened 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, it would take you nearly 1,000 years to listen to them all :!: "

He has a daughter, Holly, who can really turn it on. She has such a sweet voice. As mentioned before, Ajax mountain, Aug. 8, 1975. A magical moment in History. Thank God, for all of us, and I might add, a very special brother to him, Merle, who has left us to be with Hank Sr.
We will me him always!!!

I was at the Baton Rouge make up show that year also. There was all kind of news and rumors flying about that episode. One cover up rumor I remember well was that someone slipped a pill in his drink at a bar the night before.
I think Ol' Merle was trying to keep it on the down low, but Bocehphus just had a little too much fun the night before........
