I have had the opportunity to see Hank 13 times now, and this was the first time I traveled to see him. I would just go to the shows here in Michigan. I will continue to see him here, but I will definelty head South again to see him. This was the best show I have been to yet. Hank was in a very good mood, despite the problems with his guitars and fiddle, and was energetic. He was all over the stage, shaking hands, slapping hands and talking to those in the front few rows. He said a lot of the same things as he normally does, about football, but it seemed less rehersed. He said things differently. He also talked to the crowd much more. He stopped and said that he can do 10 shows, 20,50 or no shows and he doesn't have to worry about his fans. Because he has the best hard core fans out there. He looked happy and acted like he was having a ball. I will try and let you know the songs he played later. It was awesome, can't wait for next year. The farther South you go, the better and rowdier the crowd is. I know that now. I loved it.

Great Review! Let's hope your theory is right about the shows in the south, then B'ham and Biloxi ought to be outrageous!

A couple other things I forgot to write. He took his hat off, and his sun glasses a few times. He was a bit warm. He walked out and took his hat off to the crowd. Pretty cool. Also at the end, he picked up what looked like an old album cover from some one in the front row and held it up. I can't say enough about that concert, very cool. Also, people wonder why he doesn't do encores. We knew that when he ended he was out of there, so we left the when he walked off. By the time we got out of our seats, a matter of a minute maybe, we turned around and saw the police escorting his limo out of there. So by the time we actually got out of there, he was probably in the air and on his way home. I don't blame him, he would have sat in traffic for sometime if he left after all of us did.
