I'm sure many of you know that Charlie has played fiddle on several of Hank's records. One I was absolutley sure of without ever being told was "Mobile Boogie" I mean you just know that is Charlie playing. However, did you know that Charlie played fiddle on the recording of "Family Tradition" You can really hear his expertise on the instrumental break between the second and third verses.

Do any of yall remeber in the late eightys CDB and Hank where playing the same show .Hank stayed on the stage to long and Charlie pulled the plug .I heard Hank was pissed .Charlie said he had some where to be and didnt have time for Hank to get stoned and sing all night long.

After that incident, there was a time when Hank would begin the song "If You Don't Like Hank Williams" by saying I hate Charlie Daniels instead of I like Charlie Daniels

That's a good thing. Man I can't believe they ever got in a fight, seein as how they have been on eachother's records and metioned in their songs.

yes thought it went like I was tokin on a number hank jr. blarin on the radio that was uneasy ride song maybe? by C.D.B.
