In the original recording of "A Country Boy Can Survive" Hank says, "My Grandpa taught me how to live off the land, and his taught him to be a business man" But on the Full Acess video, as well as at the Seiverville show he said "My Grandpa taught me how to live off the land, and Mike's taught him to be a business man" He also says "For $43 Mike lost his life" Does anybody know who mike is? Is it just some random name he put in there or a real person?

Hank said in interview that Mike was a real friend of his, but never mentioned the last name - so RNH has always wondered who the person was Hank was singing about and things

Just think of all the stories Hank could tell. well hell some of the stories he could tell things they did .Places where he got the ideal for theses songs I rember him say he took the wheels off Merle kilgore's sports car and put a chicken inside of it .Then told him somebody was trying to sell them in the newspaper .Thats back when James R. Smith was his manager in Alabama you know that had to be funny .Its time for a nother book Hank and a CD.
