i just bought this for $500 as my new fishing boat and im planning on completely re-doing it, including downriggers and all the electronics
its an 18' 1958 duratech commanche
basically a big aluminum rowboat with a cabin and an outboard
i know its a longshot but if anyone knows where i can get some info on one of these, it would be great

I don't know much about the boat except your best bet for parts for it would be ebay. Most of the electronics will be there.
The best place I have found for info for those old mercury engines will be at the link below. They have everything from parts, to complete history on them, to exact color mercury paint for that year.

Seats and some of the other stuff I have found to be cheaper and Bass Pro Shops.

Any carpet that you need to replace can be got at your local lowes store, tell them you need marine carpet samples, they will have to order it but the shipping is free and it will be at your door in about 3 days.
