Both will be playing City Stages in Birmingham in June !

Hank on Sat. June 17th, Allmans Sunday the 18th. Also Marty Stuart, Derek Trucks Band and Oteil and the Peacemakers

So, this is May 27 in Orange Beach, and June 17 in Birmingham. Marking my calendar now. :smile:

Been while since I have been to City Stages, interesting that Hank will be playing there though, really hope this is not the only show he does in the Ham this year :?

Actually it more than likely will be, according to a friend at verizon ampitheater, there is no plans now to book him there since he is doing the June show in B'ham and May in Orange Beach

I saw Hank and Kid ROck two years ago in B-ham and they were incredible. The place erupted when Kid Rock came out.

I was there and the way i rember it the place fell into a lull when Kid Rock came out to steal Hank's spotlight and ruin the show. Hank was doin damn well on his own and we really didnt need that damn yankee stinkin up the show. Just my opinion

Opinion well taken. I'm from LA so I'm definately a country boy and don't take kindly to Northern Yankees. I like music and I'll listen to Kid Rock if he likes Hank, If he didn't like Hank I wouldn't listen to em. I thought That was the best that Hank had sounded in years. It was just like listening to a cd. I thought it was one of the best show's I've ever scene. I can see where your coming from.
