Bertha is what we named the calf I had to deliver in the middle of the night a couple mths ago. Bertha's mother decided that she didn't want her so we fed her on a bottle. She is now about 5 times bigger than when she was born and is spoiled. Acts like a dog and loves to play, but she wants to always take her head and butt me in the privates

Bertha the cow. What are you going to do with her? You can't eat an animal that you've named.

Bo is a friggin' monster!!!!

I'll take some pics of him by the tree with the kids....he's so large...

We thought we lost him about two weeks ago...searched all night and we heard some coyotes going nuts behind the house and when we yelled for Bo....nothing....we thought he was gone...

The next morning after little sleep, the kids and I rode bikes through the neighborhood and we found him chained up in someone's back yard!!!

Y'all wouldn't believe how big he is.... He can't even get his head through the rails on the back deck anymore!

This was a Halloween picture...he was a bad dog for Halloween, as opposed to every other day...

we had a cow named Eilse, we bought it really young bottle feed her, then raised her for about 8 or 9 month i think, not sure but she was about as big as she ever will get, i even use to ride her. Then we took her to Hobbs, NM and had her butchered.

I tell ya she was damn good eating!! Just cause we name the animal don't mean they are home safe. we use to raise rabbit, named them too. but when we had a hankering for rabbit we went outside and hit them upside the head and start skinning them.

Fried rabbit is good eating!!

the only animal that are safe are dogs and cat and rodents(hamster). everything else is raised and butchered for the freezer.
