Well, picture aside, nobody is gonna buy it without a Letter of Authenticity, and if Hank won't sign one, it will be hard for people to believe it.

Plus, he says that the title is still in Hank's name. How could that be?

Do what cashonlyj is a member of another board. Well let me say i just get cought up reading about ole Hank . I didnt know i was not aloud to read around other parts of town. I dont get on the boards as much as i have in the past got lots more to do these days. Like killing water moccasin this week one bit my dog so i killed 7 or 8 snakes this week .(Dog is doing well) But dont tell no law officer you cant kill snakes in Tennessee its the law. :wink:

Hey I hope it sells brother! If had an extra $5k I'd be in Paris this weekend pickin it up from ya! :D As far as Hank not liking ebay I'm glad I'm wrong. But I have heard him say with my own ears he dosen't like seeing things of his on ebay. A few years back there was a ring of his he had given as a present to some one very close to him and I was going to bid on this. The office sent emails out asking people not to bid on it Hank wanted it back. Alan knows the story (RNH) any way no disrespect ment it's your truck and good luck with the sale :wink:

Hank's Jeep Cherokee was on Ebay a few years ago. I can't remember how it did, but it seems like his stuff makes it on there more so than other folks cause I've seen some of his guns on there as well. I had a friend of mine whose uncle had a pair of Colts that had gotten away from Hank back in one of the divorces (Gwen, I think) and Hank tried to get them back from him for years before he finally sold them off on an auction site. Said he got more from them at auction than Hank ever offered. It still made me mad though, not so much because it was Hank but for any man who loses his guns to a divorce. I'd sell them back to any man just on principle.

I would assume Mike was a real friend of Hank's. The only time he mentions him is when he does the song live. The studio version it's just his "friend" who lost his life. This is a good thread :smile:

Barboot is correct, ther is not a studio version that I know of that says MIKE, maybe Hank live but no other store bought CD says Mike.

I'm not sure if he says Mike on the Chad Brock version or not. This has me curious. We may both be right Rowdyfrynd1. I knew the original version didn't mention Mike but several live versions have. I forgot about the Y2K version. I'm gonna have to get that cd out and check. To be continued :lol:
