They should have put up a sign. Come to think of it, I drove that way so many times that I could have put one up for them. http://www.roymitchell.com/Temp/ohwell.gif

So...............Rebel Son....spill.
Okay, here's the story. It was raining in Nashville and kind of busy among those downtown streets. There was no parking in front of the hotel, unless I wanted to pay the valets (which I did NOT). So, I kindly asked one of them where I should park.

Here is where it gets confusing. :? The valet pointed to a parking deck across the street and told me to park there. He failed to mention that 95% of the parking spaces were already reserved. So, Doe and I drove up and down, round and round. ;veryconfused I got so confused that I covered the same path about 4 times.

Finally, we found a space and we had to carry all our luggage (Doe made me carry HTS's purse) up 2 flights of stairs, across the crosswalk, then down 2 flights of escalators, then through the lobby (where they lost my reservations) then onto the elevators and finally up to the room. :? By now, I was so out of breath and frustrated that I didn't even care that I was carrying a purse.

Then, we finally met back up with everyone and HTS says, "Did you remember to get the tickets out of the car?"    Hell no, of course I didn't. So, it was back to the dadgum parking garage all over again. In the rain. Up 4 flights of stairs. Then, I finally get back with everyone again and hankfan1972 enlightened us that they would not let me into the concert with my umbrella.

;cuss Cuss, cuss, cuss.

But I was determined NOT to go back again, so I just hid my umbrella out on the sidewalk and thankfully, it was still there after the concert. And now, you know the story of the Nashville parking garage.

We had to do the same thing once at another concert, so I should have remembered that they wouldn't let it in. But at the other concert, someone stole it before we could come back for it. :-( What were you trying to stash?
