I hate Valentines, It's a made up Holiday for the Florist and Halmark, and now Victoria Secrets got involved and all the candy makers.
With that said I am leaving my better half at home for the Weekend, while I attend a business convention in Las Vegas.
I did take her to the Outlaw Steakhouse this past weekend though.

Honestly, I hate Valentine's Day, too, because it takes away any "surprise" element, which is why I bought HTS some flowers on Saturday (9 days before Valentine's). :wink: Now, THAT's a surprise! In fact, I don't think I have ever done anything special on the date of a holiday or anniversary. It makes her co-workers SO jealous, too. :lol: They're like, "What's the special occasion?" And she's like, "I dunno." :D
